Is Bo Pelini going to lead Nebraska to its next national championship? In his three years at Nebraska Pelini has improved Nebraska from 112th in total defense in 2007-2008, to 55th in 2008-2009, to 7th in 2009-2010.
Every year Pelini has been at Nebraska his teams have gotten progressively better, and Nebraska's players have gotten tougher and smarter every opportunity Bo Pelini has gotten to teach them.
And you can't get too much tougher and smarter than Nebraska was at the end of the 2009-2010 season. If Pelini's team improves by the same degree this offseason as it has in previous offseasons, Nebrska fans could be in for something special next year. The blackshirts have become a feared defensive unit once again. What remains to be seen is if the team as a whole can ever return to anything more than a shadow of its former self. The other teams in the Big 12 have got to be very interested to find that out next year, because while college football is better when Nebraska is good, the Big 12 is also a whole lot tougher too.

Following the recent signing day and reading the paper on it I would agree. But I would agree anyways. With a strong returning team and a strong recruiting class of 2010 we will be a force on top of the Big 12 for some time I believe. There is no reason in my mind that we don't make a BCS bowl this year. We should clean-up our non-conference games including another big clobbering of a Pac-10 team (washington). We should win all north games next year and beating Texas is a must for revenge. All I can say is I will be at as many games as I can. And as always I will be as loud as possible despite what the old people around me say. So lets have a great season I way, 2 loss max I think. Go Big Red!!
