Consequences for Pakistan

It doesn't matter who refutes the claims or what the Americans did. Even if they are a bunch of dirty scumbag terrorists, Americans have the right to due process in a court of law and a fair trial. If allegations of torture by Pakistani police and prison officials are true, which they probably are, then the 5 Americans accused of terrorism in Pakistan are not receiving that. America needs to respond strongly to this. Pakistan may be an ally in the "war on terror," but allowing any Americans to be tortured no matter what the pretext puts all Americans abroad at risk.

  1. Lol these guys are stupid. They were scumbag terrorists from the US that traveled half way around the world to fight our troops. Its irronic that while terrorists outside our borders want to get in these 5 wanted to get out. Pakistan has intelligence offices also, not as good as our CIA I bet. They put 2 and 2 together, they are not stupid. Why else would 5 American muslims travel to Pakistan? Chances are the five terrorists made contact with a cell or two in Pakistan and gave themselves away. I say torture the hell out of them to make them give up the contacts they made. If they are willing to fly directly into the war on terror at hopes of being a bad guy than thats just a consequence of thier actions they should of thought about before they did it. I say congrats to the Pakistan forces that made the arrests, they have potentially saved American lives. Pakistan should not give an inch to the media for making this a human rights thing. Simply because its a issue as long as they are terrorists. Terrorists do not honor any human rights laws toward thier enemies, so why should we. I say make it quiet, make it clean, but make them disappear forever. I don't believe that this puts all Americans abroad at added risk. If you are a American abroad you are always at risk from antiAmerican acts of violence and terrorism. As a country we don't negotiate with terrorists, or atleast with anything less than cruise missles and Seal teams. These so-called "Americans" who are terrorists shoud be treated as traitors and spies to thier country. We should not negotiate for thier humane treatment or release. I think we can get a much more powerful message sent out to those would-be terrorists here in America if we do nothing and let the Pakistan government torture and execute them. Perhaps the that might prevent further acts like those in Texas. We need to draw a hard line to those who take sides with the enemy. The enemy has already drawn thier line and they offer no quarter or mercy, should we?
