So here's the thing chirping crickets, Public sector employees have in many cases negotiated some pretty impressive salaries. The book, "boomerang," cites SanJose as an example of a city that is going broke paying for it's police and firemen. The phenomena of "pay spiking" often leads to Salaries of hundreds of thousands of dollars being cashed out during the last year of a public servants career.
